Thanks! It appears to work for the pictures taken with the intention of merging (a well-known technique in non-AI photo editing). Pixel is making it user-friendly for the masses to access this feature, which is well appreciated. The use case I'm trying to solve is to merge images taken in completely different environments to create realistic group portraits that don't make them feel uncanny.
This is a feature in new pixel phones. If it gains traction on android, I would think apple would pick it up too.
