I was skeptical, but the amount I've managed to do with the free tokens and a short amount of time is impressive. I'll see how it does with SvelteKit tomorrow and decide whether they'll make a paying customer out of me.

I didn't realize you had specific the stack you want beforehand.

mindblowing tool. i've attempted to create a react app to plan meals. each meal consists of several recipes, each recipe of several ingredients. user can edit ingredients with their nutrition values and build recipes from multiple meals etc. then added a navigation bar with multiple pages and a sqlite database. after adding the sqlite database I ran out of free tokens and there were some errors preventing the app from running. but until this point there was a functional app to edit ingredients, recipes and mealplans without data persistence that was created in ~15minutes. pretty cool! i'd love to play more with it, maybe tomorrow if I get some free tokens again.

I have seen many introductory videos on bolt and I am going to try it. It is impressive how it manages the solution, with all the files organized. I am sorry that .net is not supported. Congrats on the project.

Super excited for Bolt - i've seen people literally go from idea to prod in a day when it normally would take a week. Mind blowing.

Since when is going from idea to prod is a *normally a week*?

Sorry. I was meaning i've seen ideas that would take a week (simpler ideas) take just a day to build.

This weekend Bolt doubled the price and removed the ability to cancel your subscription.

Wait, how is it legal to stop customers from canceling?

Hi- Eric cofounder of StackBlitz/Bolt here, not sure what OP is talking about? You can cancel your subscription at any time over at https://stackblitz.com/settings/billing

Here's a screenshot I just took of my own billing page (see the "cancel subscription" link under the "Current Plan" section): https://imgur.com/a/6ZTWgEL

I am talking about bolt.new and not stackblitz. There used to be ability to switch back to free plan. There is no such ability now.

Bolt = StackBlitz, ie Bolt doesn't have it's own subscription plans - if you go to your stackblitz billing profile I linked above you can cancel and downgrade to the free plan!

Not optimized for mobile? In 2024? This is a joke.

To get the mvp out we had to cut scope somehow, mobile was one of them, and an easy one because this app is meant to be used on desktop :)

Will be adding responsive styling shortly to it!

In retrospect, my comment was unnecessarily harsh. Congrats on the launch. I know how tough it is to get here.
